June 2024 - Qalsody (Tofersen) Approved For Use in Europe

Qualsody/Toferson conceived by CNS Director Dr. Smith and developed in collaboration with Don Cleveland (UCSD), Tim Miller (WashU), and Frank Bennett (Ionis Pharmaceuticals), has been approved by the European Union for the treatment of a familial form of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
